MY PROFILE

I am a Taiwan-born artist and researcher whose work explores the intersections of postcolonial history, ecological memory, and sensory media. Through a practice-based PhD, I investigate how the orchid—particularly the Phalaenopsis—can act as both symbol and sensor, carrying traces of Taiwan’s colonial past and global entanglements. By combining archival research, data visualization, and interactive installation, my work reimagines the orchid as a living subject that speaks through image, sound, and space.
